Today we did pg 309 #3 out loud in partners and we began our review of the imparfait. (See pages 316-319, 322, 330)  We started a new song too.

A Faire :  pg 323 #3 (Answer all! 3^rd bullet point is follow up question to the previous one and “y” is referring to “school”)

Devoirs:  Vacation journal—add 10 more sentences, (at least 5 sentences in imparfait!) Rough Draft form and ready for peer edit in class on Thursday/Friday  Publicite project due MONDAY!

MISSING WORK

ALL 2nd quarter missing work assigned before Thanksgiving Break MUST be turned in by Friday!!

Lundi 26/11

Today in class we talked a little about our vacations and then reviewed the passé composé.

A Faire :  pg 309 #3, only write the answers (say what you “did” in PC). We are using this in class next period!

Devoirs:  Publicité Project due MONDAY!!  Write 10 sentences of vacation journal (saying what happened/what you did during vacation).  Must be in rough draft form (double spaced) and you will be adding more to it!  Finish "A Faire" if not done in class!!

5th period:  I forgot to mention that I have a training on Wednesday and so you will have a sub.  Please be on your best behavior and show the substitute how great of a class you can be!! Remember that you represent Grant, me and of course yourselves...so don't let any of us down!!

Today in class we practiced the passé composé of reflexives with a sondage (survey), discussed the verb “vivre”, and worked on the publicité project with partners.  Click here to see grading criteria for the project!

Today in class we discussed some new reflexive verbs and vocabulary.  We peer edited the drafts of daily routines and reviewed for the quiz.

New reflexives presented today:

S’impatienter – to get impatient, Se mettre en colère – to get mad/angry, S’embêter – to get (be) bored

S’énerver – to get angry/irritated, S’en aller – to go/leave/get out of here (Va-t’en! – go away!)

S’inquiéter – to worry/get worried, Se secher – to dry, Prendre un bain – to take a bath
