Today we talked about our vacations (how it was/what we did), practiced using “quand” and “si” clauses, and practiced dialogues.

Devoirs :  pg 426 #10 (both clauses!) Practice dialogues!  Start studying for test coming early next week ! (I will have a study list for you Wednesday but in the meantime, you can use the blog and your book to guide you!)

We reviewed the future and talked about what our futures may hold.  Worked on dialogues and listened to our song.

A Faire:  pg 425 #9 (whole dialogue)

TEC:  revise dialogue

Devoirs :  final draft of dialogue (typed, 1.5/2 spaced), practice dialogue (must be memorized!), prepare for test coming after break (see blog and dialogue criteria for guidelines), pg 427 #12

Mercredi 18/03

We reviewed the future and talked about a few more irregular verb stems and some common expressions.  We learned about “Si” clauses (pg 425) and had time to work of dialogue drafts.

TEC:  Work on dialogue draft… **I will accept dialogue drafts up until 3:15 tomorrow (Thur) if you want feedback on your writing !

Today we talked about our weekends, listened to our new song and worked on dialogues and oral interviews.

We reviewed the future, continued interviews, revised the “Musée des Morts Vivants” reflection in partners and worked on dialogues.

A Faire:  pg 422 #3 (write responses, do orally in partners)

TEC:  Practice questions for interview, do pg 229 #9 orally in partners, peer edit (verbs/tenses/other grammar) “Musée” reflection, and work on dialogue script.

Devoirs :  pg 422 #5 (each bullet, soyez logique!), revise “Musée” reflection and be ready to turn it in neatly written/typed with your “Musée” notes.

Mercredi 11/03

Today we practiced using more than 1  object pronoun in a sentence, learned the future, did some oral practice and started a dialogue project.

TEC:  pg 421 #1, start dialogue work

Devoirs :  pg 229 #10 (complete the blanks in the dialogues with sentences using 2 pronouns), pg 422 #2 (each column represents a set of sentences about the subject given on top, make the appropriate future conjugations to put the sentences together, be prepared for your interview!!

Lundi 09/03

Today we discussed some “questions personnelles” with the verb “dire” and did some oral practice with the object pronouns me/te/nous/vous in imperative and infinitive constructions.  We also practiced questions for the oral interview.

TEC:  pg 208 #8 (go through once the way the book instructs you, then go through using nous/vous as pronouns), do orally

Devoirs :  pg 228 #7 (choose between direct and indirect object pronouns!), be ready for interviews Wednesday!!

Vendredi 06/03

Today we reviewed dire/lire/écrire and the vocab pg 225. We also continued to work on indirect object pronouns.

A Faire:  pg 207 #7 (write a mini-dialogue for each one, do orally)

Devoirs :  pg 207 #6, write a reflection about what you learned during “le Musée des Morts Vivants” (2 paragraphs, in French, about a few different presentations in detail or about several and share a few facts about each.  Here are some helpful phrases: J’ai appris que… ; _(nom)_a dit que… ; Je sais que… ;Maintenant, je comprends que…) Practice questions for interview !

Today we did our “Musée des Morts Vivants” (C’était magnifique!!) and did a “News in Slow French.”

Lundi 02/03

Today we reviewed some indirect object pronouns through questions and a speaking activity.  We also practiced projects.

TEC:  pg 205 #1 but with nous/vous this time!  «Tu nous invites au ciné, d’accord? » « Mais non, je ne vous invite pas au ciné », do orally in partners

Devoirs :  BE READY TO PRESENT !  EVERYONE IS PRESENTING ON WEDNESDAY (ONLY EXCEPTION IS EXTREME CIRCUMSTANCES WITH VALID EXCUSE!)  YOU WILL BE DOCKED AN AUTOMATIC 10% OFF FINAL GRADE IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED ON WED!  Be sure to have your visual and anything else you want for your exhibit (costume/artifacts/etc.), I will give you some time for set-up.  Also, pg 205 #2 (choose 3 and do 1 affirmative and 1 negative for each!)
