Déjeuner Français

Venez manger et parler français! 


Starting  Thursday 01/11...
Every other Thursday in rm. 128, we will have French lunch.  Bring your lunch and come practice speaking French!  All levels welcome:)

* This is also a way to make up participation points for absences from French class

Today we learned how to use reflexive verbs in the imperative, finished up the review lessons (5th only), and looked at toiletry products that have French on them.

Devoirs (Homework):  write daily routine for 4 sections of day: before school, at school, after school and evening/night.  Approx. 5 sentences each section.  Use as many reflexives as possible!  Bring in rough draft format (double spaced and typed/neatly written) for peer editing on Thur/Fri.

Today in class we reviewed reflexives by playing a game in partners

A Faire :  Fill in Reflexive verb handout up to l’imperatif with formulas and example sentences.

Devoirs (Homework):  Write out your before school daily routine—at least 6 sentences and use at least 5 reflexive verbs.  The more detail the better!  Find a toiletry item at home that has the product description/uses in French (often hair, makeup and shaving products have this).

Today in class we discussed the homework questions, did review lessons, and watched the music video for our song.

A Faire :  Qu’est-ce que tu vas faire ce weekend? 10 phrases !

Devoirs:  pg 284: notes and #1, find a toiletry item at home that has the product description/uses in French (often hair and shaving products have this), bring for Tuesday.

Mardi 23/10\Mercredi 24/10



Today we looked at a PowerPoint (click here to view presentations) to review reflexive verbs and add some new ones.  We discussed using body parts with reflexives.  We also did some review lessons and listened to our song.
